Pilots are adding a new dimension to the Mountain Harvest Festivities for 2017! Aircraft that operate from the North Fork Valley Airport will fly over the Paonia Town Park Friday, September 22, at 4:15pm.
Join us on the Football Field for best viewing. Listen and watch for these four aircraft fly over:
- Yellow and blue 1974 Bellanca Scout utility airplane that is used for West Elk Mountain Rescue
- White and blue Cessna 172 is one of the most popular 4 seater airplanes flown
- Red and white RV4 experimental low wing airplane is fast and efficient 2 seater that is built by the pilot
- Yellow helicopter turbine engine 1 seater built by the pilot
As a separate welcome to visitors, the Colorado Pilots Association has published an event to invite pilots to fly in to the North Fork Valley airport to attend the Mountain Harvest Festival this year. The online posting highlights music, mountainharvestfestival.org website and the need to reserve lodging well in advance. Thanks to pilots for helping Mountain Harvest Festival take flight!
