25 Jul Mountain Harvest Festival Flyover
Saturday morning at 10am the North Fork Valley Pilots will be flying over the football field next to Paonia Town Park. Bring the youth and children too and join us for the view of the airplanes coming from our local airport. There is plenty of science and practical mechanics to be learned with airplanes and flight. North Fork Valley airport is used for West Elk Mountain Rescue training for medical helicopter work. Also, in the past, North Fork Valley Airport has been instrumental for fire fighting and emergency use. If you have not yet visited, it’s a public place located on 3855 Road just off Back River Road. If the weather does not permit the fly-over on Saturday, it will be held Sunday morning at 10am.
Thanks to pilots for helping Mountain Harvest Festival take flight!
