The Fall Equinox is a turning point, the change from light to darkness. It is also a time of harvest and of bounty from the Earth. The Festival of Courage is celebrated by the North fork School of Integrated Studies.

The entire K-6th NFSIS student body will perform a play at Paonia Town Park about conquering the powers of darkness and the light wanes from the Northern hemisphere. A dragon appears before us as a mighty challenge. Will we develop the strength and bravery required as we transition from light to darkness? Come find out and see our school in action at this year’s festival.
