The Fall Equinox is a turning point, the change from light to darkness. It is also a time of harvest and of bounty from the Earth. On September 22nd, the Festival of Courage is celebrated by the North fork School of Integrated Studies.
The entire K-6th NFSIS student body will perform a play about conquering the powers of darkness and the light wanes from the Northern hemisphere. A dragon appears before us as a mighty challenge. Will we develop the strength and bravery required as we transition from light to darkness? Come find out and see our school, in action on stage in the Town Park at 4 PM.
